Sunday Worship Service at 9:30 am Increasing Understanding at 10:45 AM
2005
LifeTrack Church began as a vision for original pastor Brian Thomason and his wife Krista. They sensed a calling to start a new church in Crawford county where everyone, especially the unchurched, felt welcomed. What began as an idea for a church that would welcome people wherever they are in life and help them get on track to life God has for them - the life track. Brian and Krista sought help to begin the process, and what started as a dream, was becoming reality.
A group of people led by God came together to encourage and support the “idea” of LifeTrack and started the process.
2006
On Super Bowl Sunday February 5, 2006 LifeTrack officially met for the first time at the Franklin Community Center. 80 people showed up on the first Sunday, and LifeTrack was born! LifeTrack would eventually outgrow the Franklin Community Center and move to the Frontenac High School cafeteria. Blessed by some significant financial gifts and support LifeTrack was able to purchase approximately 6 acres on the north edge of Frontenac at the intersections of highways 160 and 69.
2010
LifeTrack was able to construct a simple 60x80 metal building and began to meet there in November of 2010. That building has become our church home where we continue to meet each Sunday. God has given us a place where we can continue to bring glory to Him and build up His church.
We are Commanded by God to love Him in everything we do, with everything we have and to love and care for others as we would ourselves.
We are Commissioned, sent in the authority of Jesus with the power of the Holy Spirit, to make disciples baptizing them and teaching them all that Jesus commands us. It's our desire to combine the great commandment and the great commission to go make disciples in Jesus, with the love of Jesus.
Our Mission
We believe God has called us to make disciples who make disciples by using the gifts that He has given each of us to be E.P.I.C.
E - Evangelize the lost, P - Praise the King, I - Increase understanding and C - Care for those in need.
We want to be intentionally and consistently on mission, to live out these words daily as we walk in faith with Jesus.
Being EPIC is not about us, but about Jesus, and us helping others know and grow in His love. We strive to be a church that is reaching the lost with the good news that Jesus Saves. In every situation and circumstance we want to praise and glorify Jesus, we want to continue to grow in our understanding, our faith and our love for Jesus and we want to share that love as we serve our neighbors.
If you are looking for a church home we would like to encourage you to come visit us. We aren’t perfect, we are humans in need of a perfect Savior - Jesus.
